Wasiu Omogbolahan Olasunkanmi Adewale Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, and the official musician of the APC Presidential Campaign, has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to address the worsening economic reality and alarming surge in kidnappings across the country.
During a recent live performance show in Nigeria, the Olori Omo-Oba Akile Ijebu, K1 expressed deep concern about the plight of the citizens, emphasizing that they are hungry, angry, crying, and suffering, with challenges including a lack of electricity. He passionately urged the president to shoulder the problems faced by Nigerians and find viable solutions.
K1 criticized those who profit from adversity, stating, “Awon eyan Ibaje arije nidi madaru elo wabi fori pamo si” (those mischievous elements who profit from bad situations should bury their heads in shame). He implored President Tinubu, whom he described as a compassionate leader, to heed the cries of the people.
Expressing concern over the alarming rate of kidnappings and the deplorable state of the economy, K1 appealed for urgent solutions, emphasizing the need for a compassionate response from the presidency. He urged all Nigerians, including traders affected by the foreign exchange challenges, to exercise patience and allow President Tinubu the opportunity to address the pressing issues.
As a close associate of the APC President, K1 highlighted their longstanding relationship, emphasizing his commitment and loyalty to Tinubu’s leadership. K1 De Ultimate, a card-carrying member of the All Progressives Congress and a prominent financier, played a pivotal role in entertaining members during rallies and supporting the APC’s campaigns musically.
