The lawmaker representing Kosofe Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber, Honourable Kafilat Ogbara, is gearing up for a crucial Town Hall meeting scheduled for February 16 at the Funflex Hall, CMD Magodo, Kosofe, Lagos State.
This gathering marks Hon. Kafilat Ogbara’s inaugural Town Hall meeting since her election to office in 2023. The event promises to be a platform where constituents can engage directly with their representative and discuss pertinent issues affecting the constituency.
Expected to address the crowd during the meeting, Hon. Kafilat Ogbara will provide insights into her legislative agenda and initiatives aimed at addressing the needs of the people of Kosofe. Attendees will include a diverse range of stakeholders such as Lagos State cabinet members from Kosofe, State Assembly members, Local Government Chairmen, Councilors, traditional leaders, political class, youth groups, opinion leaders, opposition parties, residents, religious leaders, and market leaders.
Town Hall meetings serve as invaluable opportunities for constituents to gain a deeper understanding of the workings of the National Assembly and to voice their concerns and feedback. Issues ranging from zonal intervention projects to recurring flooding and economic challenges will be on the agenda for discussion. Additionally, constituents will have the chance to convey their messages and expectations to their representative, Hon. Kafilat Ogbara.
