Mayor Dele Oshinowo Showcases Transformative Development Projects in Agboyi Ketu LCDA

Mayor Dele Oshinowo and his team recently welcomed multiple journalists on a tour of their latest developmental projects aimed at enhancing the lives of residents in Agboyi Ketu LCDA.

During a media parley, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, the Executive Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, outlined the achievements of his administration and unveiled the next phase of developmental initiatives geared towards improving the quality of life for residents.

Mayor Dele Oshinowo’s leadership style, characterized by inclusivity, responsiveness, and a strong focus on grassroots development, has left a profound impact on the council’s trajectory. The community is experiencing transformative changes across various sectors including infrastructure, education, health, environment, agriculture, social development, and technology.

Highlighting the importance of robust infrastructure for socio-economic growth, Mayor Oshinowo emphasized the significant investment in infrastructural projects such as housing schemes, road networks, transportation facilities, and public building renovations.

Acknowledging the support of the Executive Governor of Lagos, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Mayor Oshinowo announced the imminent launch of 271 units of apartments, boasting 18 hours of power supply. Despite price increases, public interest in these housing units remains high, with about 80% already sold and occupied by residents.

Addressing housing sector gaps, Mayor Oshinowo unveiled plans for the construction of 248 units of 4-bedroom apartments, further demonstrating the LCDA’s commitment to providing affordable housing solutions.

Additionally, Mayor Oshinowo highlighted partnerships with tech giants Google and Microsoft to provide ICT training to residents at the ICT Hub, offering opportunities for skill development and empowerment.

Following the press conference, Mayor Dele Oshinowo led journalists on a tour of the developmental housing projects, starting from the picturesque Greenwich Gardens to Raymond Estate and Sterling Heights, affordable housing estates designed to cater to the needs of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA residents.
