Thousands of residents across Kosofe Local Government Area (LGA), Ikosi-Isheri LCDA and Agboyi-Ketu LCDA are expected to benefit from a nine-day free medical outreach beginning Friday, October 30, 2026.
The initiative, tagged Kosofe Cares, is organised by the Mayor Dele Oshinowo Foundation (MDOF) in partnership with Seyi Tinubu to expand access to essential healthcare services across communities in the constituency.
The outreach will run until November 7, 2026, bringing medical consultations, diagnostic screenings and other healthcare services closer to residents.
Free Medical Services for Residents
According to the organisers, beneficiaries will have access to a range of free medical services, including:
- Medical consultations and health insurance enrolment.
- Prescription medications.
- Tuberculosis (TB) testing.
- Blood pressure and blood sugar screenings.
- Eye examinations and free prescription eyeglasses.
The programme is designed to reduce barriers to accessing basic healthcare and help residents identify and address health concerns.

Organisers Urge Residents to Participate
The organisers said the partnership reflects a commitment to community welfare and human capital development through improved access to healthcare.
“Our aim is to ensure that quality healthcare is not a luxury, but an accessible right for every resident in our communities,” representatives stated.
Community leaders and local organisers have encouraged residents to identify the outreach venue nearest to them and take advantage of the available services.
They also urged residents to share the information with family members, neighbours and others who may need medical attention.
