Until his switchover to NNPP, he was a member of the All Progresives Congress and a staunch supporter of the former Member of the House of Representatives representing Kosofe Federal Constituency, Honourable Ekundayo Alebiosu ‘DBush’.
According to Omotayo, “Several friends, supporters, and well-wishers purchased the nomination and expression of interest forms for him to enable him to participate in the 2023 general elections. While urging the residents of Kosofe to get their permanent voters’ cards, he added that NNPP is the best alternative to the ruling party, APC.”
He pledged when elected to raise the bar of political representation in the Kosofe Federal Constituency of Lagos State.
He said, “I am seeking a seat in the Lower Chamber of the National Assembly as a representative of our people from Kosofe Federal Constituency to raise the bar of political representation; demonstrate leadership capacity that will surpass our previous and current experience; as well as address the weaknesses of previous and ongoing administrations; and build on their gains to set a prospect for the future.”
