Otunba Alebiosu Sikiru Adekoya, a native of Epe, has officially declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Epe Federal Constituency under the platform of the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM).
Alebiosu, who unveiled his campaign with the slogan “Epe First, Epe Stronger,” said his candidacy is centred on community-focused development and stronger representation for residents of the constituency.
Declaring his ambition, Alebiosu said his upbringing in Epe had shaped his commitment to attracting greater federal intervention and resources to the constituency.
“This campaign is about service, not politics,” he said, outlining priorities that include improving public facilities and ensuring that federal development reaches communities across both rural and urban areas of Epe.
His campaign platform focuses on healthcare and education, youth empowerment and infrastructure development.
On healthcare and education, Alebiosu pledged to support the upgrading of primary healthcare facilities and public schools across the constituency.
He also promised to pursue economic opportunities and job creation initiatives targeted at young people, while advocating for the expansion of federal infrastructure projects from the coastal communities to Epe town.
Alebiosu further pledged to provide what he described as assertive representation at the National Assembly in Abuja, with a focus on transparent leadership and improving the quality of life of residents.
He said his ambition is ultimately aimed at putting the interests and development needs of Epe at the centre of his legislative agenda.
