The convener of ‘Vanguard for Good Governance’, Oromidayo Balogun have decided to step aside, pledges his allegiance to Femi Saheed as they tussle for the seat of Honourable at Kosofe Constituency II which was left vacuum due to the demise of Honourable Tunde Braimoh’s.
Oromidayo who have made his intention known to the public earlier before now to participate in the Bye election via his social media handle have stepped aside at the request of the party. This was made known yesterday at the Acme area of Ikeja alongside members of his group.

“I believe in my party ideology and stepped down in the interest of my party as well as myself”, he said.
Speaking on his position over the party’s choice of Honourable Femi Saheed, Oromidayo said, “the leaders must have scrutinized whoever they want to settle for, and will not allow anyhow aspirant.

Honourable Femi is a like-mind and I know he will fare well,” he concluded.
The Assistant State Secretary for APC, Honourable Femi Saheed on the other hand, noted that, the party feels the need to fit the vacuum with a suitable person that will discharge the duties as required.
According to him, one of his objectives is to “unify Kosofe as one entity that will be known for excellence, equity, justice and fairness” as regards to reportage of his activities.
Commenting on his plans to give feedbacks to his constituents, he assures everyone will be incorporated in his governance, and he will be accountable for all his activities.
Speaking on his experience and expertise, he pointed that, his professional career vis-à-vis his political experience over the years, made him vast and well grounded for the task ahead.
He added that “political experience, connection, desire and passion for the people are qualities that can make one excel”.
He, however, promised his constituents an enlightenment on democratic tenets, and accepted that, he would love to be evaluated on the basis of qualitative and quantitative representation of his people.
