APPEAL PANEL: APC Primaries election in Kosofe, Allegedly Nullified

The All Progressives Congress election appeal panel has allegedly nullified the party primary election held on May 29 in Kosofe.

The election was nulified following the petition submitted to the panel by APC chairmanship aspirant, Mr. Musiliu Alade Aigoro.

Aigoro, and four others participated in the disbanded election.

When Kosofe Post contacted Alade’s over the development. He said, “The questioned knows no more than the questioner”.

The Chairmaship candidate, Barrister Moyo ogunlewe, whose name has been displayed by the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC), in his chat with Kosofe Post said, “it is false
and not based on facts. He urged his teeming supporters to disregard the information making round and stay calm.”

Earlier, Kosofe reports that the inconclusive election was lead with narrow margin by another APC Chairmanship aspirant, Olarenwaju Carew.

However, Moyo Ogunlewe who emerged as winner has been announced as the party candidate for July 24 election until the primary election was nulified by the appeal panel.
