A Former People’s Democratic Party State Deputy Chairman from Kosofe Local Government, Honourable Ola Apena asserted that his party demystify All Progressive Congress National leader, Ashiwaju Bola Tinubu by winning 14 seats, 8 House of Assembly, 6 House of Representatives seats in 2015.
The 2007 PDP candidate for Kosofe Constituency 1 , Apena made the claims while responding to an interview titled “Tinubu owns Lagos – PDP Shaginsha-Magodo Councilorship candidate, Odunaya Florence” granted by the party July 2021 Councilorship candidate for Shaginsha-Magodo ‘Ward B’ Area of Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development.

In his response to the Kosofe Post Apena’s wrote:
“That’s not correct, God is the owner of Lagos. In 2015 when I was the Deputy State Chairman of PDP to Captain Tunji Shelle. We demystify Bola Tinubu myths by winning 14 seats. Eight House of Assembly and Six House of Representatives. Ambode got away with victory with a narrow margin. It’s doable on a larger scale.”
“However, The Local Government Election under State electoral body has reduced the electoral process to winners take all for all state party affiliation notwithstanding.All the governors practically write result in utter disregard to ballot result. I stand to be faulted, The ranking PDP leader,” Ola Apena submitted.
