People’s Democratic Party (PDP), House of Assembly Aspirants lobby party leaders and delegates Ahead of the party primary election slated for Saturday, May 7.

The contestants were screened and issued clearance certificates to participate in the election last Saturday.

According to Kosofe Post findings, after Saturday’s ward delegates’ election that produced the three delegates for the party primary, aspirants have recruited their contacts and connections within and outside the party towards pressuring the local and state leaders to endorse their aspirations.

Another source hinted that the contestants had failed to reach a consensus arrangement among themselves.In Kosofe Constituency 2, we have the 2015 PDP candidate for Kosofe Constituency 2, Pastor Francis Adebayo, the PDP 2017 Agboyi Ketu Lcda Chairmanship candidate, Donald Tambi,Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin and Ibrahim Balogun ambition realization will be determined by last Saturday’s elected delegates and statutory delegates.

In Kosofe Constituency 1, the General Manager of Prenaid Financial Limited and Action Democratic Party Councilorship candidate in 2021, Owoaje Babasola, who recently joined the PDP, and Debo Adesina, a security expert, are expected to embrace each other and collapse their campaign structures for the winner after the primary election.
