UK-Based Nigerian Freelance journalist and IT Expert, Dare Lasisi, has called on Nigerians to vote out bad leadership in the forthcoming elections while celebrating his 50th birthday in Lagos, Nigeria. Dare Lasisi, who has multiple aliases such as Alujoni writer and Jagunmolu of Scotland, made the call while speaking to the Kosofe Post at the New-Haven Crescent Oshorun Heritage Estate, Isheri North, Kosofe, on Saturday.

In his message to Nigerians, Dare urged them to eschew violence, not to be carried away by politicians’ sweet talk, and implored them to vote out bad leadership with the use of their Permanent Voters card. He noted that it was time to say no to bad leaders and kick away bad government, as enough is enough.

The celebration was not all fun for Dare, as he shared his experience on the impact of the new naira notes and fuel scarcity, among others, on his birthday. He said it has not been good, noting that it has been difficult to see the new naira note and fuel scarcity has been so tough. He added that many people wanted to come to his birthday party, but there was no fuel in their car or they didn’t have money for transport.

President of Women Arise, Dr. Joe Okei-Odumakin, who graced the occasion alongside comrades celebrated Oludare Lasisi, also known as Gani Radical, on the occasion of his birthday. She danced and sang a solidarity song for the celebrant while wishing him many happy returns.

Dare Lasisi, who came from Scotland about two weeks ago to celebrate his 50th birthday, noted that he was still very young at heart. He thanked God for his mercies and blessings for his hale and hearty health. He shared that he had no sickness that involved him using any medication because he liked to keep fit all the time.

In his words, “At 50, I’m wiser enough. I’m careful of my friends, I’m careful of how I speak and what I speak in society. Because people can pick you up on that. So, I feel young at heart at the age of 50. I’m so glad my friends came today to give me the honor. Friends came as far as Kogi State, Abuja to celebrate with me. So, it’s a nice day to be here with my friends and I’m good. My friend has been so good.”
