Okanlawon donates ICT centre to Public school in Kosofe

Honourable Sanni Okanlawon representing Kosofe Constituency 1, in the Lagos state House of Assembly has donated ICT/Computer Library to Emmanuel Primary School.

Okanlawon who recently Flags-off distribution of educational materials to public schools has again commissioned fully equipped ICT/Computer Centre with the essential software applications to equipped pupils right from the cradle and to afford them opportunity to have access to creativity and innovations.

The lawmaker also commissioned the rehabilitated Borehole earlier donated by late Senator representing Lagos East senatorial District, Adebayo Oshinowo at IDIABA Ojota, Kosofe Local Government Area.

Addressing the media over his intiative across public schools in Kosofe, Okanlawon noted his passion to impact on people’s informed his interventions drive among others.

“Sustainable Development Goal 4 is about quality education and is among the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. As fate would have it, I am the House Chairman Committee on Education in Lagos, I have a responsibility to ensure we have quality and quantity education in Lagos State,” the Lawmaker stated.

Speaking further he noted that we must beginning to build Nigeria of our dream. Nigeria of our dream could only happen if everyone of us braced up for us to have concerted efforts towards developing it.

He appealed to corporate organizations, philanthropists, Public spirited Persons and other member of the society to donate ICT items, educational materials to public schools, and health centres respectively. He stressed that Government can not do it alone concerted efforts geared towards building NIGERIa of our dream is everybody responsibility.

Also speaking the Senior Special Assistant on Education to the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Adetola Salau, commended Okanlawon for the life impacting interventions.
She noted it’s significant succour provided for digital literacy and expresed willingness to collaborate with the Lawmaker and everywhere else across the state for us to advance our children on digital competencies.

Kosofe Local Government Chairman, Moyo Ogunlewe lauds the lawmaker for the dividance of democracy and highlighted Education programmes his administration provided barely two months in office.

Kosofe LGEA Education Secretary; Babatunde Shoneye represented By HoS Mobilization, Mrs Odubayo Iyabo applauded the lawmaker for his role in educational development in Kosofe and Lagos State at Large. ” Last week, I witnessed the distribution of educational materials at Oworonshoki school Complex and Ifako. Today, we are witnessing another gift from him donating set of computers to Emmanuel Nursery and Primary School, Ojota. it’s fantastic.”

She implored other honourables to imbibe the same gesture to make the world a better place for all to leave.
