requested for transformer from immediate past Kosofe Local Government, Hon.Afolabi Sofola for his community which has been in darkness for years.

Hon Sofola instructed CDC Chairman Segun Babatunde, Council Engineer and Prince Kehinde Saliu to remove the transformer from the ground and take it to Oko Cole in Oworonsoki for the community use according to Babatunde.

In his words,” The Oko Cole community repaired the transformer for their use. Last week, a letter of invitation was brought to me from Zone 2 Onikan, Lagos. Yesterday, Friday 17th I was there to honour the invitation. On getting there I was shown a petition from Mrs Adebare indicting me that I stole a transformer and sold it to Oko Cole community which was not true. After the interrogation by police, I was asked to go home.”

He attributed the frivolous petitions as political gimmick. He added,”
Mrs Adebare also alleged that I sent hoodlums to her house to burn her house and to kill her which was not true. I am a credible community leader, and I don’t have any skeleton in my cupboard. This is political gimmick, Kosofe CDC Chairman , Segun Babatunde stated.
