The incumbent lawmaker representing Kosofe Federal Constituency, Honourable Rotimi Agunsoye, who is seeking another term, and Mr. Abiodun Owokoya, were among the contestants who insisted no election be held.

The duo of Agunsoye and Owokoya separately demanded a free, fair, and transparent primary election to pick the party’s flagbearer.

The contestants maintained that no consensus was reached among the contestants and further alleged that the party returning officer, Mr. Fuad Oki, used a fake delegate list to conduct a shambles exercise that produced the purported winner.

Kosofe Post reported last Friday that the party officials led by Hon. Fuad Oki conducted the House of Representatives Primaries Election where Kafilat Ogbara was declared the winner.
