Honourable Kehinde Saliu
Oko Cole controversial Transformer has been replaced by ikeja Electricity Distribution Company (IKEDC).
This was disclosed by Councilor representing the affected Community ‘Ward B’Oworonshoki area of Kosofe Local Government, Honourable Kehinde Saliu in his response to Kosofe Post.
Kehinde said the controversial transformer
has since been replaced after draining the community undisclosed amount of money. He exonerated Kosofe CDC Chairman, Hon. Adesegun Babatunde from the unsubstantiated allegation of selling the transformer to his Community as reported by an online media( not Kosofe Post).
In his reaction Honourable Kehinde Saliu said,” The transformer we are even talking about has been replaced by ikeja electricity after lots of spending by the community to repair it , the Cdc chairman didn’t collect any money from anyone and all the community can testify.
Recall Kosofe Post earlier reported that the transformer was legally transferred to Oko cole from adebare street not sold before the reported replacement.
